Jessica is 16 and began showing in Junior Showmanship when she was 12. She started showing with a miniature poodle but now shows her Champion German Shepherd Dog, Ziva.

She shows in both juniors and the regular classes and has put a major on Ziva's brother, Mr. B, along with other points on other GSDs. She also has shown American Cocker Spaniels.

She has 5 Best Juniors this year from the Open Senior Class at all breed shows and also was awarded a $500 scholarship as a runner up in the "Best California Junior" competition. She has qualified to exhibit at this year's Eukanuba Championship show in Florida.

As of May, in Junior Showmanship competition, she is #1 in German Shepherd Dogs and #15 in the herding group. Jessica is also starting to get involved in the performance area and is training her backup Juniors dog, Roofie in obedience and herding and is getting ready to show Mr. B in herding trials.

She is a junior in high school in Northern California and maintains a 3.5 GPA. When not studying or showing at dog shows, Jessica loves to ride motorcycles in the dirt.

Jessica wants to continue to show German Shepherd Dogs once she has aged out of Juniors and is considering becoming a pro handler. However, she first wants to attend college and then perhaps the police academy to become a K-9 officer.
